Wilson Miller - giving the gift of growth to OLPC

Wilson Miller has donated money to the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) organisation. The donation was enough to purchase 12 laptops for the foundation and is on behalf of clients that we have supported throughout 2007.
OLPCs mission is simple; they aim to empower children in developing countries to learn, by providing one connected laptop to every school-aged child. It’s a frightening statistic that most of the nearly two billion children in the developing world are inadequately educated, or receive no education at all. One in three does not complete the fifth grade.
Tools such as web browser, rich media player and e-book reader encourage children to work and play together to learn, grow, create and communicate. With our donation, twelve children will each benefit from a laptop to help make their education a priority not a privilege.
Wilson Miller is proud to support such a noble and deserving charity.
