Cementing a 5-year relationship with Cisco, Wilson Miller Resourcing has recently been awarded preferred supplier status for the provision of managed marketing resources. One of a select group of providers to be awarded this status, it represents a major success for the Resourcing account managers and staff who have been working across Cisco teams. “When we founded Wilson Miller Resourcing, it was to address the needs of many of our marketing services clients who wanted quality people to manage projects as well as the project deliverables themselves,” commented Andrew Miller. “Taking part in a detailed and competitive procurement process to secure this status has shown that we have succeeded in providing this quality to Cisco at all levels” Katy Munday, Wilson Miller Resourcing Client Director outlined the strengths of the approach “Our knowledge of technology marketing means that we know who is the right person to fill the role, and then we reinforce their skills with management and skills development so that they become invaluable team members – our success is reflected by the number of requests we have to move into our teams from other areas. We have also worked hard to build good relationships with individual team managers, so that we know exactly who and what will deliver the right results for them. This approach has been borne out by fighting off other providers and being selected as a major provider to Cisco.”
